Folkestone Pet Services is a reliable & friendly run family company. My partner Vicky & I (& our three animal loving children) manage it entirely & solely by ourselves; we undertake
our own walking, organise our own workload & are our own secretary!
As well as enjoying walking & dealing with dogs & other animals, we have six family pets of our own; four cats & two (domestic!) rats. As a child I grew up with a family who loved & owned several St Bernard dogs & it was during my childhood that I developed a love for all furry animals (& even the creepy crawly ones!).
You can be assured that we genuinely care about the welfare of your pet, have an understanding & affinity of animals & will always ensure they are looked after with love & safely returned.
Alongside running Folkestone Pet Services I work in the Accounts department of a local utility company dealing with billing enquiries. I enjoy my work & providing a friendly helpful service. But my passion is working with customers of the four legged variety & my goal is to become self-employed on a permanent basis. For the time being, however, we endeavour to organise our dog walking & other pet services according to our availability.
You may also like to know that I have a Law degree from Leeds University & am a fully qualified Citizens Advice Bureau Advisor having worked in Ashford CAB for two years. Here I gave face-to-face advice on a range of societal issues such as animal welfare, housing legislation, consumer & employment law so I am fully aware of the importance of providing an honest, trustworthy & reliable service.
Vicky is an experienced Teaching Assistant at primary school level where she provided support to both teachers & pupils. She has excellent supervisory & communication skills as well as patience, warmth & enthusiasm.
We both, therefore, pride ourselves on having the right attitude, commitment & giving a high-quality service to you & your pet. We are also happy to provide references on request.
Our aim is to provide unique & excellent assistance to our customers, to enjoy meeting new people & animals, to build our reputation within the local community & to expand Folkestone Pet Services to provide a wide variety of animal services in Folkestone & the local area. As well as currently providing dog walking, pet sitting, pet taxi-ing & a garden clean-up service we also wish to provide a Lost Pet Finding & a Pet Grooming service in the future. OUR PLEDGE:
As animal lovers we also believe in raising awareness of animal welfare issues. As a result we pledge to donate 10% of all monies we receive for our services to the RSPCA. This will help a wide variety of animals that are not as fortunate as our own well loved pets.
